Eric Olson is the superintendent of the Monticello Public School District and he’s filled a variety of roles during his 26 years in education, including classroom teacher, summer custodian, alternative education teacher, assistant middle school principal, elementary principal, early childhood principal and superintendent. His commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion is reflected in the work he does every day. He understands every child has different needs and comes from different backgrounds. Eric has made it a priority to learn, collaborate and meet kids and families where they’re at. Children are not “at risk” for Eric — they’re “at promise.” He has a passion for meeting the individual needs of “Every Kid, Every Day.”
